Anti-wrinkle Injections

Botulinum toxin, known as ‘Botox’ and ‘Dysport’, consist of properties that are anti-agening. When injected, Botox relaxes the muscle which prevents the skin from creasing and causing wrinkles. It is highly effective for expression lines in the face such as frowns, surprise lines on the forehead or crow’s feet around the eyes or the turkey neck lines on the throat.

Excessive Sweat Treatments with Botox

Botox has become widely recognized as a solution to reducing heavy axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating) which was approved by the FDA in 2004. In treating excessive sweating, Botox is effective because it blocks the secretion of the chemicals that activate sweat glands under the arms. During the procedure, the doctor will inject approximately 50 units of Botox into each armpit; the more units injected, the longer the drying affects last.

Is it painful?

Nope! It is quick and painless.

How long does the Botox last?

Botox is broken down differently by each patient as bodies act uniquely to one another. Typically, you would experience dry armpits for about 3 to 6 months after the injection, however, exercising or stressing accelerates the body’s metabolic response to Botox and will therefore fade faster.
